BEAVERCREEK — Qbase, a Beavercreek-based data management and analytics company office has acquired the assets of CFA Networks, a Springfield technology and communication solution provider.

"We are merging the operations of the two companies effective today," said Bill Pardue, Qbase chairman and CEO.

All operations will now carry the Qbase name, establishing a clear unified brand
in the marketplace, Pardue said.

Qbase operates a Springfield office downtown in the same building that houses CFA's Champion City Data Center, 20 S. Limestone St. CFA's downtown location will not move when Qbase moves its local offices to Nextedge Applied Research and Technology Park in July.

Craig Terrell, CFA president, and Kevin Schleinitz, CFA vice president of business development, have both accepted positions with Qbase.

Terrell will focus on providing IT solutions for government clients and Schleinitz will lead the Qbase sales force in managed IT services and remote data warehousing.

"We will be expanding the markets in which (CFA) offered services....Previously, CFA was mostly Ohio-centric in terms of sales, and now Qbase, through Kevin's leadership will be taking what was CFA's solutions set and going nationwide," Pardue said.

CFA had about 30 employees. Pardue said with the merger Qbase may add jobs
in some areas but he did not have specifics.

"We're two organizations coming together and we're looking at the right levels
of staffing," he said. "This definitively means a net increase in jobs in the Dayton region."

Qbase brings more than 200 clients to the merger and CFA brings more than 300.

"In terms of annualized sales bookings... I expect to see triple digit growth with the combined organization," said Pardue.
