Bill Pardue is chairman and chief executive officer. He led the team that founded Qbase in Ohio in 2005. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Bill previously was president & CEO of LexisNexis for its corporate and federal markets in the United States. Under his leadership, LexisNexis created its two Internet flagship products, lexis.com and nexis.com, and broadened significantly products and services for the federal government, ranging from the Department of Homeland Security to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Bill also served previously as president of Gartner Intelligence, a unit of global IT market research firm Gartner, Inc., and as director of marketing for The Washington Post. Bill serves on the Executive Board for the Institute for Development and Commercialization of Advanced Sensor Technology and was selected in 2007 to participate in the National Security Forum of the Air University Foundation at Maxwell Air Force Base. Tom Shoup, Qbase President, served the U.S. Air Force in engineering and executive roles for more than 20 years before taking leadership positions in public and private firms focusing on engineering services, healthcare information technology research and medical devices. Tom was president and chief operating officer for CAD CAM Inc., chief of staff and vice president of operations for iCad, Inc., and chief operating officer for CADx Medical Systems, where he managed operations for research and development, clinical trials, manufacturing and regulatory affairs. While at CADx, he played a key role in the development of cognitive detection products for breast, lung and colon cancer, as well as Space Shuttle damage detection. tshoup@qbase.us |

Scott Lightner uses his extensive knowledge of hardware, software and systems management to provide state-of-the-art architecture for Qbase. As chief technology officer, Scott is responsible for delivery of all products and technical application support to an ever growing number of government and commercial clients. Scott has 17 years of experience designing and directing the creation of enterprise class applications for commercial and government sectors. Paul Kesaris serves as senior vice president for strategy at Qbase. Paul brings more than 25 years of experience working with product management for both large and small database and publishing organizations, including LexisNexis. He has led development of electronic information services for a wide variety of nonprofit, business and government users, including research tools for development professionals and online information services for university researchers. Franz Weckesser, vice president of research and development, brings 22 years of system engineering experience to Qbase from Microsoft, LexisNexis and Reynolds & Reynolds. Most recently, Franz co-developed and managed the infrastructure for a search system hosting several billion records. The system was designed to be fault tolerant, and remained up and running continuously for over three years through hardware failures, operating system upgrades and daily content releases. Franz also has focused on automated data fabrication and enhancement systems, and has worked with federal government customers and with international data. fweckesser@qbase.us |

John Snow, vice president of Government Solutions, has held previous leadership positions during his nearly three years at Qbase, including Director of Corporate Services and Chief Operating Officer. John worked previously at Reynolds and Reynolds in increasingly responsible positions of management in finance, marketing, business development and corporate strategy. During his nine years at Reynolds and Reynolds, John was responsible for marketing to major accounts, new business incubation and identification of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. His career started with National City Bank where he became a branch manager of two Beavercreek, Ohio offices and a corporate banking officer.
